The 5th edition of the Visakha Organic Mela is set to bring sustainability and organic living into the limelight. Scheduled from December 12 to 15 at the AU Engineering Grounds in Visakhapatnam, the event promises to be an enriching experience for enthusiasts of eco-friendly lifestyles and organic farming. With over 200 stalls by farmers, farmer producer organizations, and organic stores, the exhibition is an endeavour to provide a direction towards healthier, sustainable living. A highlight of this year’s mela is the special session on terrace gardening on December 15. Gardening groups from Visakhapatnam, Srikakulam, Anakapalle, and Vizianagaram will share their expertise during this session. A model terrace garden will be on display to inspire attendees, showcasing practical ideas for transforming urban spaces into lush green havens. In addition to this, awards will be presented to the best terrace gardener from each district, recognizing their dedication to greening their surroundings.
